The main list is okay, but man, I get irritated at the comment sections’ lists, where apparently the goal is to name the top 10 most obscure stuff you bought this year. It’s not an obscurity contest, guys. Just because people have heard of it didn’t mean it sucked.

Every article like this that I read makes me cry. After Katrina, I remember wondering if they would just tear down the Superdome and disband the Saints. If anyone would ever be able to stand being in the Superdome again. And when they were playing games in Tiger Stadium, with helicopters still buzzing everywhere overhead flying back and forth from New Orleans. And the LSU 2007 National Title...
I knew it.
I find it telling that the Saints are 11-0 and going to the Super Bowl (fingers crossed)…and it is supposed to snow tonight in South Louisiana.
